Our experience demonstrates that having stable accommodation and being part of a supportive community are essential when it comes to interrupting chaotic and destructive cycles, growing confidence, inspiring hope and creating a future.
Members of the Handcrafted community bring a lot of experience too, and as their confidence grows, they become empowered to help and support one another.
Our support team focuses on working alongside people to create for themselves a living space that feels secure and ‘homely’. They also support people to have access to meaningful activities and to integrate into healthy community life.
All our staff are practiced and receive ongoing training in helping individuals to develop effective coping strategies to deal with the inevitable hardships and setbacks of life and to build long-term resilience.
Our Support Workers are Seymour, Henry and Catherine. Find more about them here.
